We left home at 3:30 (Ruby was pleased as she got her walk) and made our way to the deep south, not quite, Kalk Bay actually.
The weather down south was windy and a bit misty but thankfully cool after the hot morning.
We walk along the the coast in the direction of Clovelly - the sea was full of white horses. It was interesting as one usually walks in the direction of Muizenberg. Around the corner was this lovely tidal pool called "Wooly's"
We turned around and made our way back to Kalk Bay
to the Olympia Cafe for well deserved light refreshments.
Sucking lemon
Karen did not know that the lemon was meant for the bottle!
Last Choc brownie for Theresa
Then off to Kalky's for some fine fish. We loved the colourful, salty and sticky vibe of the place.
Our Hake and chips was "take your front teeth out" delicious
